Joan went on to become a dynamic English teacher and fully engaged in a unique experimental project at her school which turned upside down the standard concepts about education. Joan, who describes herself in her early years of religious life as an “unthinking conservative” was beginning to experience the exhilaration of innovation and expanded boundaries. |
